NATURAL DISCOVERIES OF CORSE DU NORD
Corsica, the jewel of the Mediterranean, is also known as the Island of Beauty. This nickname refers to the sea and the sun, the hilltop villages, the waterfalls and the heavenly beaches. Wonderful landscapes entice travellers from one end of the island to the other.
Located in Haute-Corse, 20km from Bastia, Saint-Florent is the starting point for many walks. From the Kalliste campsite you can easily reach the Cap Corse or the Agriates desert. Hiking enthusiasts can follow the customs path and discover a multitude of Genoese towers. Don’t miss a stop on the beach at Barcaggio during this walk.
Your stay in Saint-Florent is also an opportunity to visit Nonza and admire its magnificent black beach. With its fine sand and crystal clear waters, Saleccia beach is reminiscent of the most beautiful spots in the Caribbean.
Further inland you will find the Padula lake, the 4 Winds Cross Bridge and Corsica’s regional park which will amaze young and old alike.

Saint Florent is an ancient Genoese city in northern Corsica. With its beaches, vineyards and festivals, the city has become one of the most popular on the island. It is also known as the “little Saint Topez”.
This seaside resort is located in one of the most beautiful gulfs in the Mediterranean. From the campsite, you can enjoy the centre of Saint-Florent, its port and its monuments within walking distance. You can walk along the Gulf coast. Water sports enthusiasts can try their hand at many activities, such as diving, sailing, water skiing.
Early in the morning, the harbour is the ideal place for a leisurely stroll. The fishermen return from their morning trip with fresh fish and the peaceful atmosphere of the town delights the whole family. The narrow streets lead you to the parish church of St. Anna and the former post office square “Piazza Posta”. Going up a little bit in the old town you reach the Citadel of Saint Florent. A beautiful panoramic view awaits you.
